Paid Media Specialist (PPC & Paid Social – Fully Remote)
About the Role: In this role, you will have the chance to work on exciting media and e-commerce client projects without the need to commute to an office.
You will collaborate with client teams, implement campaigns, and contribute to overall strategies. Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in client calls to learn about their business and discuss results
- Design, manage, optimize, and scale ad campaigns across paid social, search, video, and display channels
- Write ad copy and provide creative briefs to external teams
- Research and revise audience targeting strategies
- Analyze data within platforms and in Google Sheets to identify issues and opportunities
- Propose ad budget allocations and control costs
- Provide clear insights and recommendations to our team and clients through reporting
- Collaborate effectively with other channel owners outside of Paid Media
- Innovate new advertising strategies that push ad platforms to their limits
- Document and maintain successful processes, and train future staff members
- Share your learnings online and at events, promoting both our company and your personal expertise

- Minimum of 4 years of experience (agency experience is preferred) with a strong background in both PPC and Paid Social
- Passionate about driving real behavior at scale and understanding the responsibility of influencing large audiences

- Able to think strategically while being hands-on in your work
- Agile across multiple clients and capable of multitasking
- Interested in and appreciative of wider digital marketing channels and their interactions with paid media
- Proactive in planning and scheduling, with the ability to solve problems as they arise
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Actively improving your knowledge and staying up to date with industry developments and opportunities
- Ideally based in or around Cape Town
- Experience with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Supermetrics or DataSlayer, Conversion Tracking, Pixel Implementation, and analyzing and troubleshooting ad-related issues is desirable

Salary & Benefits
- The salary range for this role is R28,000 – R55,000 a month depending on experience
